reignofjade: Gville walker constitution up!

beckyaya & I have been working on making Gville Walk an official UF club. Here is the constitution (work-in-progress)... there's a tentative list of officers and requirements of members. If anyone is interested in becoming an officer, you can email me at fairy_smuck@yahoo.com. You'll have to interview for the position. I'm President & beckyaya is Vice President.

Anyone up for meeting for dinner? Anyone? ... ANYONE???

(There's been little to no involvement on this community... so if anyone actually wants to get together & join the club COMMENT! NOW!) :D

Other people are allowed to join, but they cannot run for office. I did not decide on this, the guidelines on the constitution said that this rule must apply to all clubs at UF.

I love going on long, long walks. I do my best thinking when walking. It's very therapeutic. But I'm a (single) guy. And I would feel awkward walking with a bunch of ladies. Don't get me wrong: I would love to walk with women, as long as I don't have to worry about what they think (like "why is this poor lonely guy walking with us") I think there might be tension. What if you start talking to me while we walk, and well, you kind of don't like me too much, then you wouldn't want to walk anymore, especially if it's a small group in which everyone knows everyone else real well.

When I went stadium stomping a few years ago, the group was small, with about 3-4 people. They all knew each other real well. It was like a clique. But I joined them and had a good time. Luckily, the group was well-balanced with guys & gals. Hmm... I guess when you are walking there's more of an opportunity to talk with someone, so maybe that's what I'm worried about. Sometimes I just like going for long walks and being outside with my own thoughts, breathing the air and smelling the grass. I wouldn't want to chit-chat so much as enjoy the experience with maybe a little company.
